Amazing mercy.

It is my hope that my non-Muslim friends and family will take the time to watch the video below as well as my Muslim friends. I urge you to take the time to grab a cup of coffee or tea, a quick snack, or just curl up on the couch with a favorite blanket (that’s what I did!!) to watch this powerful short video. This is a clip from a lecture on “Hope”, on hope and seeking the forgiveness for our sins.

Abdul Nasir Jangda is a great speaker, very engaging, inspirational, and eloquent in his speech. In this video, he talks about the absolutely amazing forgiveness of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala), and the amazing lessons in the Qur’an. Alhamdulillah!

A short lesson before watching the video:

It is very difficult, almost impossible, to translate the true meaning of Arabic words into English. Below is an attempt to give you a rather general translation of two of the phrases you will here again and again in the video.

During this lecture you will hear Brother Abdul Nasir say the phrase “Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala” each time he mentions the name of Allah (SWT). The meaning of this is: Pure (amazingly perfect) is He and Exalted is He. You will also hear him say, “Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam” each time he mentions the Prophet Muhammad. This means “May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him).

These phrases, are used, along with many other phrases that we attach to other important and honored individuals such as the companions (Radhiallahu ‘Anhu) (RA) of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and all of the other prophets (Alayhi Salam) (AS) of Allah (SWT).

Radhiallahu ‘Anhu: “May Allah (SWT) be pleased with him”.

Alayhi Salam: “May Allah (SWT) bless him”.

Here is the video. InshaAllah, you will benefit from it in some way!

I think this guy is great…his message is strong. If we practice forgiveness
and live with hope we can save not only ourselves but others. Now how can you argue with that. Thanks for sharing.

    1. @betsf53 He is a great speaker. Take the time to go back and watch again when you get a chance. We all do need to forgive one another, but that isn’t what he is talking about at all. He is talking about God’s Amazing Mercy and Forgiveness, even when we don’t think we can forgive ourselves, or that we have done so much harm or sinned so much that we have no hope!
